GH2 Manual Video with Leica

Just got the GH2 a few days ago, and have been quite impressed with the results off my Leica glass. Few questions for anyone that can help:

1) Is the cinema mode 24P the only 1080P mode available?
2) Is there any way to have auto ISO in this mode?
3) Focusing before recording with the focus assist is fantastic. However, is there any way to invoke focus assist during recording?

1) Yes
2) Yes, but only in non-manual exposure modes (P, A, and S.)
3) Unfortunately no. When using an AF lens you can auto-focus and move the AF point with the D-Pad or touch screen, which is nice.

Thanks, that is a real bummer - the leicas focus really nice and the focus assist before recording is just fantastic. too bad they dont let you magnify even just the centre at a minimum.

One other question on the cinema mode - if I am using P/S/A/M modes then I assume I cannot use the Cinema 24P mode? So what format is it recording in?
