Recently I hacked my GH2. I ran some tests using a clip viewer before and after the hack to see any differences.
Unhacked, my GH2 recorded in a log GOP format according to the clip viewer's histogram. When my GH2 was unhacked, FCP 7 would recognize the long GOP format of the .MTS files and log & transfer worked fine. After I hacked the GH2 to 100 Mbps using an "Intra" patch, the log & transfer now does not recognize the .MTS files any more.
This confirms that the file structure of my GH2 has changed since the hack and no longer records in long GOP. How can I get log & transfer to recognize my camera? Would an upgrade to FCP 7.3 remedy the log & transfer error? Since my GH2 now has an AVCIntra100 hack, if i added an AVCIntra100 plug in to FCP would this fix it? If so, where can I find it? FYI the hack I used is called "SpanMyBitchUp."
