GH2 + Lilliput 7" 668GL Monitor.... Feedback?

It says it takes 1080 HDMI input but the resolution is only like 800x400???? Has anyone used this.

What's the deal? Does it look HD, how is the quality?

I've used with my HMC150. It's bee nice for the price. I plan to try with my GH2 as soon as I swing by and pick up the mini cable. I mostly use for framing.

Yup, got mine from Ebay with the extended battery pack on the back of it. I'm a hobbyist only but the focus pulling I've done with it so far held up in post and it looked sharp while doing it live. I just need it for focusing and it works really well for that purpose.

Great. Thanks for feedback. How long does the normal battery last? I have a Cowboy Studio mount right now, will upgrade with rails, etc. eventually but right now just looking into a way to mount it for my GH2. How is yours set up? You have pics?

Thanks again for the feedback.

I have the Cowboy thingy as well, and like it a lot. With that monitor attached via an L-Bracket it gets a bit bulky and unweilding to operate but is doable. What I have been doing is using a cheap L-bracket that has cold shoe attachments, attaching that to the bottom of the cam/tripod and then the monitor to that so it's off to the right of the cam/tripod. All of that's on a quick release so I can just unlatch the cam/l-bracket/monitor as a mini-run and gun set up. I might try to post some pics but no promises as I'm feelin' a bit lazy right now.

Oh yeah, the battery question. Well, I haven't had it on long enough to drain it. I think the longest I had it on was a half hour with no issues. It does seem to charge up rather quickly. If you're doing this for money/job, then buying two of them would make sense to me. Here's where I got my setup.

I also bought this right angle HDMI cable and secured it's end to the GH2 with a spot/zip tie so that it won't get yanked on.
