There was a weak spot in the GH2 to Lens Turbo mount that was bugging me endlessly, especially when turning the follow focus. Hopefully this will fix it, have another to make the regular straight through adapter too.
Waiting for the epoxy to harden before I check it.
Epoxy is set and it does what I intended it to do, no more jumping when racking focus back and forth. Need to make one for the straight through adapter now. Probably should paint it black too.
Betcha could sell a bunch of these to forum members.
I got lucky - my Mitakon version 1 locks pretty darn tightly to my GH2s. But I could see these being useful for a ton of other instances besides just this one.
The problem is that it's pretty custom to my application. I thought about making one that would attach to a 15mm bridge, but there's no room between follow focus and camera mount. I have the one for my generic straight through adapter drawn up and may start cutting it tomorrow.
Spent a bunch of time racking back and forth, and I'm pretty happy with it, hope other lenses behave the same. Need to by a few more focal lengths and finish stuff off.
Looks nice - my FF issue with DSLRs and adapters is the lens jumps up a hair - if I'm doing pulls, I stick a lens support on and crank it up enough to take out any play.
