GH2 ISO Comparison + Tele Conversion Shots.

Looking back, I wish I didn't pan too fast in the first 3 clips. I noticed how bad it looked when I got home but nonetheless, I still included them.
Before anybody talks about the unevenness of some shots, please keep in mind that I did not have a tripod and was using what ever I can find to put the camera on.

I have GH2 shots that isn't nearly as boring as this and will be posting some within a few days.

The ISO 800 shots look good and a million times better than the GH1 could do at that ISO. However, all your shots have jitter because of your shutter speed. If you're shooting for 24p you should have the shutter at 50. So you'd actually need to shoot with an even higher ISO than you were to get proper motion. Of course if you actually want the blurred shot then it's fine, but as a test to show ISO comparison it should be at normal motion I think. Still, nice looking footage otherwise. I need to visit Boston.

I actually knew the shutter may get commented which I why I posted it but I think using 60 would be better than 50 to match the lights.
I forgot to say that it was hand-held without any support at all.

Still, with a shutter of 30, results can be good as long as you don't pan too fast. That's part of what I'll show in a few days. I do wish there was an option to choose a shutter of 24, 120 and perhaps 240. That better be in a firmware update if possible.

Yes, Boston is not a bad place to visit.

I thought we needed to have the shutter as close to double the framerate as possible. So if you're shooting 24fps you'd want a 1/48 shutter, but since the GH2 doesn't have that you set it to 1/50.

48 is fine if the camera has 48 but using 50 with lights that run at 60 cycles like in our country will give banding effects so its best to use 60 shutter. if youre in Europe with current running at 50 cycles, then use 50 shutter.

Ah! Wow. Good thing I found this out. When the GH1 first came out everyone said to use 1/50 so I stuck with that. I guess I got lucky with all my productions so far. 1/60 from now on it is. Thanks!

I kinda of varied between the two. I used mosty 1/50 but when around flos etc. I put it on 1/60 and sometimes even 1/40.
