GH2 GH2 ISO bug fix?

Regarding the GH2's famous "ISO Bug". Where excessive noise would appear while shooting video unless you set it to a certain ISO.

Since it's been 2 whole years since the controversy, has this been resolved with the 1.1 firmware and have their been any better ways to combat/fix as of 2013?

No resolution that I know of, other than working around it. I actually just stick to the second row (200, 400, etc.) and I really don't even think about it anymore, it's become second nature.

After hearing about the bug I've been avoiding the first row also, but
can you shed a bit more light on the work around?

I had read somewhere else that first setting the ISO to any that is NOT a multiple of 160, and then going back to the first row
will trick the camera out of the noise bug?

If you set the ISO to a mid-row value, then again set to a top row value, you'll be fine. But if you turn off the camera you must repeat that process... I am mostly content using only the mid row.
