No, they're not. They are out of stock. But if you search for GH2, you will find the body only, which doesn't have a picture. Click Buy Now, and check your cart; still $737.35

But it does make me wonder now, how long they will be out of stock.
I'm going to just sit back and wait for the waters to clear a bit. Still nothing to shoot here til the end of February, so I have plenty of time, and am enjoying reading the reviews, and hearing the excitement for those that are getting them.
My TM700 is going to be returned next week, to be replaced by the GH2. TM700 was a great camera, but; the files are difficult to work with...and, the sound never synched with the video. So I always had to fiddle with that in post. Just to much work for 1080P/60. I'll take 720P/60, and like it.

I have a pair on order with the 14-42 lens and I think come Monday I will cancel one. There has been talk for months now about "January" for delivery. Now it appears we are seeing later January just about everywhere. Right now we have discounts at Panny for corporate. Provantage and Unique have them for anyone. Because all those discounts are so agressive, it leads me to believe there is still more "down" possible in the price. Why else would you drop $100+ off the price of one of the hottest products you have coming out, other than you are still making a good crack of profit on each sale? Smart business says "if you are a seller and you anticipate your available stock to be restricted for a long time to come, you are going to bleed all the profit out of the few you do wind up getting". So right now I would put a ten spot on that in 60 days these will be sitting on the shelf everywhere as the discount wars begin.

Oh....btw...for those of you not interested in waiting for a GH2 any longer, Amazon has the new unhackable GH1 with the 14-140 kit lens for the new price of ........

I think the retailers know something we don't. And I'm guessing that there will be a "glut" of these kits and bodies in about a month. Let's face it; the market is kind of limited. It doesn't really take great pictures(I know of a few that went with the Oly even after getting their GH2's because EP took better pictures). But, it does do great video.
The 800lb Gorilla in the room is this; when will the first firmware upgrade happen?? Will it restore auto-focus tracking in video mode(ala pre 1.0 firmware)?? And, will it be hackable.
Panasonic-if your listening-if the firmware is not hackable, you can kiss my money goodbye. I will buy another solution for my needs. Same with auto-focus tracking in video-bring it back, or no money from me. K-thanks.
Panasonic Direct just rec'd a shipment of GH2's! I just got off the phone with them and they said it just arrived in the warehouse and they'd be shipping my Body only GH2 soon.... Also noticed that their website states that Ship time is down to 1-3 bus. days, (down from the estimated 7-14 days stated a few days ago. )
Now could be a good time to order....only depends on how many orders there are to fill. I hope i get it soon!

When did you order? I ordered through them on the 2nd; I called them this morning and they said it's still on backorder. The representative even put me on hold to check with the warehouse. I'm beginning to feel a bit neglected.

Thanks for the update. I'm still waiting for my order (placed 12/21) to ship, hopefully mine is in this batch! Who knows though, since they seem to be shipping way out of order... for all I know I could place another order today and maybe that will arrive before my original order...

Just called pd and got the same answer I got last week, they are back ordered and won't be in for 1 or 2 weeks.

Got my 14-140 lens weeks ago but the duct tape doesn't hold it onto my phone's camera very well...can't wait to try it on a real one.

I just sold a whole bunch of stuff I really wanted to keep so I could buy a gh2 and now I have to sit here and wait till these things are in stock. Really sucks

Just called PD and yup, got the line that they are getting another shipment in this week so my order should be shipping out "real soon." It's false advertising to post 1-3 days for shipping. From reading this thread, I didn't expect anything close to that, but this is ridiculous.
