GH2 GH2 in 24p: very strong "strobe motion" effect - why?

I just keep thinking that, at least for the reason of even a smaller-sized sensor than GH2's, Blackmagic Cinema Camera must have even more pronounced *perceived* motion cadence issues...

Rolling shutter isn't the issue here, it's the staccato frame movement that 1/50 shutter gives; rolling shutter is essentially the jello effect you get when you sway the camera to-and-fro. 1/40 does indeed eliminate any of the 1/50 choppiness that the GH2 and the Canons have.

I doubt the BMC will be handled by operators in the same way as the GH2 is most often handled. (Meaning as in handheld).

Does the BMC have 1/48 s shutter speed by the way?
