GH2 Hack and "version increment" in ptool

I understand how to hack, except one step is inconsistent across different tutorials. Some GH2 hack tutorials state that "version increment" within ptool needs to be changed from 1 to 10,, while other tutorials, including one here, don't mention this step,,meaning the version increment will remain at 1.

Which is it or is this number dependent on a GH2 body's first hack versus future hacks?

I did the hack by leaving the increment version unchanged and it worked.

For future hacks or going back to the original Panasonic firmware; do I need to change that "version increment" or can it remain again?


btw, the Flow Motion patch footage looks great, all that blockiness and crap in the background is gone/very clean. The camera is really sensitive to light, amazing.
