Gh2 Hack absolutely no audio Premiere cs6 - Flowmotion 2.2 - Help

Ok I am fairly new to my Gh2 and i recently hacked it with the flowmotion 2.2 firmware. Everything is working flawlessly but once I import the .mts files into Premiere there is no audio file attached to the clip (see below). The audio plays back perfect on the camera and if i convert to any other file format it works fine as well. Just kind of left scratching my head right now. i have done my research and cannot find a similar issue out there. I usually shoot video on cannon and I am new to the gh2 and .mts files but any insight would help... Hopefully I am just missing something simple. Any insight is much appreciated.

How are you getting the clip into the timeline?

Im importing them into a new bin, like i have always done. I ran some tests before i hacked the GH2 and the files imported perfectly. Now i just noticed that the files on the card that i shot before the hack now importing without sound.

Dragging straight from the bin into the timeline? No side-stepping to the preview monitor beforehand?

And this is the full version of CS6? Not a trial or anything like that?

Would you happen to have a raw .MTS clip that is exhibiting this problem that you could upload?

I've heard about many cases where this is happening, and it's almost always because the user is using a pirated version of Premiere Pro CS6. Cracked and hacked. Are you using a cracked version?

Hmmmmm that quite possibly is the issue. Is there a fix or do i just need to reinstall?

Thanks

Yes, it's called purchasing a legitimate copy. Adobe Creative Cloud is great!

Why is it that people always like to blame "A pirated copy" or "insufficient system specs" as the reason for a program not functioning properly?

My theory is that the people offering the aforementioned advice really have very little understanding of how a program interacts with a system, drivers, etc and thus when a problem that they don't understand occurs they just shout "Well maybe your system isn't powerful enough" or in this case "It's probably because you have a pirated version." If you don't understand how a program operates, then don't try to offer advice in the first place. The problem that he is experiencing has nothing to do with whether he has a pirated copy or not, and everything to do with either the way adobe wrote the program, or how a hack effects the .mts files, and how those files subsequently interact with adobe's program.

I happen to have a legitimate copy of creative cloud and have run into the same problem multiple times. What confuses me is that on some shoots audio will import properly and in other shoots I can't get it to import at all. This alone should disprove the notion that this problem only happens with pirated copies.

Bear in mind that I have used the same hack, memory cards, system settings, etc. across all of these shoots yet have ran into this problem intermittently. I always import my files the exact same way (copying the PRIVATE folder into a different folder on the hard drive, opening up premiere, importing the clips from the PRIVATE folder into a bin in premiere) so really I do not understand why these inconsistencies occur.

Whenever I use my Gh2 I never need its onboard audio in the first place, so I have never explored the issue too thoroughly. Still, having audio from the camera is important to have and this problem is worth investigating.

One thing that you may want to try, and I offer this as just an idea that probably won't work, is to perhaps try formatting your card between shoots. I once forgot to format a card between shoots and I realized that I could import audio perfectly from the first shoot, but I was unable to import audio at all from the second shoot. So perhaps having a fresh format allows premiere to import the audio for whatever reason?

Regardless, there are a lot of variables that need to be explored. Do certain hacks have trouble importing audio? How about certain clip lengths? Do certain ways of importing footage make a difference? What about certain preferences within Premiere?

Hmmm, well, because of this:

followed by this:

Seems pretty straightforward, don't you think?

My theory is that the people offering the aforementioned advice really have very little understanding of how a program interacts with a system

I used to program Windows apps back in the 90s, including DirectX. Are you aware that a pirate crack for the PC port of Batman: Arkham Asylum resulted in a game that, while it ran fine, had crippled gameplay features? I guess you should probably think about revising that theory of yours.

The problem that he is experiencing has nothing to do with whether he has a pirated copy or not

Well, I guess it would have something to do with it since he admitted that he was using a pirated copy...

and everything to do with either the way adobe wrote the program, or how a hack effects the .mts files, and how those files subsequently interact with adobe's program.

Except that I primarily work with AVCHD in Premiere CS5, CS5.5 and now CS6 and have never experienced this issue.

I don't recall anyone using the word "never".

Perhaps if we'd start with someone who wasn't using a pirated version of Premiere, we could get somewhere. You sound like you're that person...why are you just skimming over this thread and missing key moments instead of posting a trouble-file for those of us with no issues to play with?
