GH2 hack 30min record time limit

Hi,

I have the flow motion hack on my GH2. Althought it supposed to have the 30 min limit removed, I still can't record more than 30 min. I tested the stock firmware and no problem recording more than 30 min...Am I missing somenthing?
 
Yes, you need to turn off the 30 minute limit when you use the firmware update tool. Properly set, Lee Powell's excellent FlowMotion ver 2.02 patch has no recording limit.
 
Still doesn't work. I tried with the box (for the 30 min limit) checked and un-checked and nothing works.
 
Hmmm... Something must be messed up with either the firmware you are using or your camera. I 've been using Lee Powell's Flow Motion ver 2.02 for almost 9 months now and have shot longer than 30 minutes many times. The longest single take I've shot to date was 90 minutes when recording a symphonic musical performance.

What recording mode are you shooting in and what cards are you using?

Your cards might not be able to span in 24H or HBR.

Set to 24L and see if it keeps recording.

I tried many modes. Ia record on a Extreme 45mb/s class 10.

Typo or are you saying "Ia" = Intelligent Auto? If so, turn that that off.
Set dial to Creative Movie Mode.

There has also been reports of the Sandisk 45MB/s cards having issues with the hacks.
I forget exactly what the problem is, but do remember hearing about those cards.
A search should show what the the issue is.

Typo...sorry. I never use IA.
