Does anyone know what bit depth audio (not video) the GH2 and GH3 cameras record with? The sample rate appears to be 48kHz, but I can't figure out the bit depth.
I need to sync up an external audio recorder (Tascam DR280) for dual sound of a live band video I will be shooting with my GH2 and GH3 cameras. I will be syncing the audio and video with Plural Eyes, and editing with Premiere Pro. The Tascam can record in 48kHz/16 bit or 48kHz/24bit, so I'm wondering which is the correct setting to use.
Any advice would be appreciated.
