GH2 GH2 for PAL user

Hi... I've recently bought a GH2 to complement my 2 x GH13's...

I bought it from ebay and the unit is a Pal version..

So I'm wondering which patches are the best to apply and do we still use the same PTool??

Can we get 25P from the GH2 now???

I think you'll find it's an NTSC version that's already been hacked. (yes I know it's brand new in the box)

the patch you apply depends on your use - READ UP on the hack and you'll work out whats best for you
It's the same camera so of course the hack is the same.
No it won't shoot 25p
 
Thanks... but I'm finding the GH2 stuff a little bit harder to track down than say all the GH1 patches...

Would be great to have a sticky for the GH2 hacks...

Why would the camera already be hacked???

reason why it would already be hacked is its cheaper for the seller to buy one from japan and hack it to PAL to appeal to PAL buyers like yourself. this may or maynot be the case. i bought a jap model and hacked it myself back in oz. usually when you buy mem cards off ebay at a good price its usually fake. you can google to see how to find out if it is fake.
 
Cool... all good and well.. re hacked or not...

What I'm trying to find is a location for some hacks to apply to the GH2 without having to troll through 100's of pages...

The GH13 has a bunch of good stickies with hacks / workflows etc...

The GH2 seems to be all over the shop...

I'd be especially interested in some good hacks for PAL user...

PS.. I've bought 2 x GH1 for the same Taiwanese seller... never had an issue...
