I had fun doing this video. I wanted to get a few under my belt before doing weddings. It was tough to shoot because of the small space. Please let me know how I did and what needs to be changed. Im really looking forward to your comments. Thanks :)

Shoot with:
GH2 with slow motion (720)
Heiios 44M
25mm 1.4 CCTC
monopod

I just watched it and will give my opinions (taken that everything is subjective and just my perspective). I think you did a decent job of editing to the music, pacing. I'd apply a stabilizer filter to the beginning. The shakes are fine for short stylistic segments but too much gets tiresome. I think unless you do some interviews or other topics, you should probably keep it shorter since a lot of the shots were people's backs or while swimming, the shots start to look alike. Some more extreme closeups could help, also maybe some audio snippet interviews, even if its just some kids cheering someone on. Its generally better to have some vision of what you want to say, and if that isn't so clear then keep it shorter if you have a lot of similar shots...don't feel the pressure to use every shot you took just because you took it. Also, remember that rack focusing etc is also a look and shouldn't be over-used. The video and music choice had great positive energy. Based on what you had, I'd probably have made it much shorter and fixed some of the shakes, and try to get more of people's front sides. Great effort!

Thanks for the reply. I agree its pretty much the same shot over an over but its swimming. Same start and finish for each event so its kind hard to switch it up. The space was small and very noisy. I don't think I could have gotten a clean audio snippet with out it sound like crap. I have 2 Zoom H1 i brought but never broke them out.

I also was thinking of shorting it. I just didn't want to leave anyone out

Thank you for comments and remarks. Ill definitely remember those for the next video. Always like honest opinions :)
