Well, Panasonic says im the first to report the defect. It is not serious and does not interfere with the operation of the camera.
On my camera the auto focus mode dial will not click into face auto detection. It only half clicks in, and can easily un-click if you rub your hand against it. The feature still works, but according to Panasonic it is simply a misaligned spring.
They told me to send it in to have it serviced, but I think im going to hold off until im done playing with the camera. I do not use the face auto detection feature as of yet, so its no big deal, but I figured I would post the issue here so there is a record and others will be able to reference the problem in the future.
