GH2 & ETC feature

I reckoned the ETC is a good feature of the cam, it's like having two lens for the price of one. Really like it a lot!
However, I do find that visuals shot with ETC has quite a bit of noise in it. Anyone knows why is it so?

Another cons is the ETC feature will automatically de-activate whenever a monitor is hook up to the HDMI port

With low light enviroments and high ISOs, the noise is magnified. It's pretty clean with an ISO of 160 like you'll see in my video that I quickly shot and edited just for fun.

I had the same concerns and not having ETC when monitoring via HDMI is just not right.
