I use 2 of these to mount rods to the base of the cage. Works great.

I have a Gini cage, works great except for one last point on the hot shoe. I ended up using a hot shoe cover and hand tightening a 5mm down on it. Would've been better with a proper hot shoe mount lock.

Thanks Brent. I've been eyeing this cage for a month now, and think I'll order it! Can you recommend arms you would use for holding the monitor, recorder, etc.. as well as handles?
