GH2 GH2 Battery Charger

I've lost the GH2 battery charger that comes with the camera. For those who have experienced the same, how did you remedy the situation? Did you buy a third-party solution from Amazon? If so, which should I trust?

The Panasonic site doesn't sell the battery chargers from what I can see, so this is sort of frustrating. I don't want to buy a third-party charger if it damages the battery.

BTW - Ft Lauderdale is amazing. I live in Broward too and the weather down here has been fantastic for outdoor photography.

I have two of the inexpensive 3rd party chargers, & use them more than OEM because they're more compact so easier to transport abroad. I've had them for years & never damaged the OEM batteries.

That's good to hear. Have you used this one? I like that its cheaper and comes with a car adapter as well.

Thanks, yeah FLorida is great for photography.....

Also the instruction manual leads me to believe not to use 3rd party batteries or chargers on my original batteries or camera. That $40+ lesson you think is expensive now can end up being more if you damage your camera...... Food for the Wise

Try a dual charger like this. Takes up only one spot on your outlet, charges two batts at once, and gives you confidence with its 3 LED battery condition indicators.

I don't know the exact manufacturer's I got, but they just like that one. Seems many company rebrand these are their own.
