GH2 Battery charger-need help

Dont know weather to lough or cry...was pulled on the Luton Airport,UK on X-rays by forces of homeland security and time wasting ministry which resulted with loss of charger (to pile up misery my flight was cancealed as well).


I called Panosonic UK and they think they might have chargers in 4-5 weeks time... excuse is "its such a new product"...
Cant find anything on internet ,so if some1 gets anything please let me know...what an absurd position
 
I worry each time I have to travel with equipment and I always leave my less valuable items, like cables, chargers, in the checked baggage and only carry the expensive items in hand baggage. Sorry to hear of this, I wonder if one can actually sue these folks ??
 
I got camera 2 days earlier and considered it a valuable item(including charger ;-) mind u it will cost me minimum £50 GH1 charger is in that bracket)...Locking horns with those people is not good idea Julian Assange is prime example.

I'm confused as to what happened. You had your charger in your carry-on or checked luggage? Airport officials deliberately took it or did it get lost/stolen?
 
will try 2morow... but considering disarray created during this snow season somehow i think charger has gone way down with disposable liquids and other items they confiscate
 
I watched a news story about all the stuff that gets confiscated at airports. Most of it ends up at the lost and found and if it doesn't get claimed or sold, they donate what they can to charity.

Seeing as how the charger feels very cheap is completely useless without the camera, I think you may have luck finding it there.
