GH2 GH2 at Samy's camera for $549

I though when I bought my GH2 with the 14-42mm lens at Samy's last month for $649 it was a good deal. Now they have it for $549. If you buy a second lens you get a free camera bag and 32GB SD card. If it is the same bag I got last month, it's a very nice bag that will hold the camera and a few accessories or a small lens. The SD card I got was 16GB made by Patriot and it looks like that will be the same brand. I also got the 17mm lens and got $75 off because I bought it with the camera. I see that offer is still valid until the end of the year.

I cant find a link to order....guess you have to "call" them for the weekly ad specials.
Hard to pass up $549

BTW...any of you guys going to switch to the GH3, Im in the market for another GH2...gotta be a "cant turn down deal" though.

There will be plenty of Gh2's on the market come soon enough. Depending on how or if the Gh2 can match up well with the Gh3 in color profile.
 
I will wait a year or so to get a GH3...for now the GH2 serves me well, along with my XA-10. I like to buy new, rather than used, so the Sammys deal sounds good to me.
Will probably order one today...
 
The current ad at this moment has a new price of $599. Hope some people were able to take advantage of the $549 price.
 
I ordered one last week at the $549 price. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. As the poster above me said, it looks like it's at $599 right now. Still a heck of a deal. I'm not sure when they change their ad but if it's still up and you're looking for one, jump on that deal. I've seen used ones going for $599. Can't pass up new gear for the same price as used if you're in the market.
