I am trying to finalize an anti-twist solution for my GH2 prior to getting a follow focus and I've run into one final snag. Any suggestions are appreciated.
On one hand I want to avoid a kluge solution like friction tape and on the other I want to avoid to cost, size and weight of a cage solution like the dcage.
So I've decided on an anti-twist plate with a lip like the Arcratech 2173 ($40) that appears small enough to permit battery comparment access. My problem is the Arca clamp. All the small Arca clamps I see (like the Sunway DDC6 $50) have only one attachement screw hole, without a second hole to receive the alignment pin from the rods base, or with a second hole too close to the threaded one - I figure at least one inch of separation is required to accommoadate the minimum distance between threaded screw and the alignment pin. Without a hole for the aligning pin the Arca clamp can twist just as badly as the bare GH2.
Does anyone know of a small and reasonably proced Arca clamp with a properly spaced second hole to accomoate the alignment pin? Thanks.
