Gh2 and tm700 ;shooting for anamorphic; need help!!!

I'm shooting a short skit in two weeks and I wanted it to be in anamorphic. Is there a way to shoot for an anamorphic ratio so when I go into post, I don't have to shift the frame all over the place? Both my cams have 3 inch LCDs, so does anyone know the exact proportions on the screen to place tape so I can shoot for anamorphic before I crop?

I seem to remember talk of rigging the aspect ratio at the end of a matte box rather than on the screen...

Unfortunately, the GH2 is not yet hackable. You would need a GH1, GF1, or G2 to set up the camera in anamorphic mode. Details on how this is done in this thread:
