GH2 and Lomo Anamorphics

It was really a joy to shoot this with the GH2, the live histogram was so useful, as well as the ETC crop mode which saved my ass on a few shots.

Only minus was not being able to use my monitor during slo-mo shooting, so I wasn't able to see that the sun gun was flickering in the shot. But whatever, not a huge deal breaker.

And after hearing about how terrible the GH2 battery is, I was surprised that two of them lasted me the whole day of shooting.

is this the finished short? i notice you mention you hadn't done any colour grading, any plans to?
 
Thanks for your kind words, this isn't the finished short @ all, I've still got a couple of scenes to shoot and some narration to record. But basically this is going to be a 50's style government scare film about dealing with the looming hobo menace. So once I get this all together I'll be doing a color grade, but I really doubt it will be anything too extreme other than matching lenses. My 35mm is far less contrasty than the 50 or 75mm lenses.

Was alot of fun to shoot, and the Oct 19 lens mount I got off ebay worked wonderfully. I'll also pass on your comments about Jenn to her, but I will be sure not to mention them to her husband!
