Hi there, having a little issue calibrating the Cineroid EVF with my GH2...
Basically the image is much too dark - with pale shadows coming out as almost pitch blackness on the EVF. The image on the rear LCD looks fine and perfectly exposed, although I know this is not to be trusted - but the EVF looks at least 2 stops darker with clipped blacks.
Playing with the contrast and brightness within the EVF's settings can lift the shadows and reveal what they contain, but of course this washes the whole image out. It just seems a little bit mental and as it stands the EVF is almost unusable for monitoring lighting set ups...
I'm hoping I'm just being ignorant to a setting on either the camera or the EVF - or that my limited calibrating experience is leaving me stuck.
Anybody experienced this, or know of a good guide for calibrating monitors, or even in the perfect situation and guide for calibrating the Cineroid :undecided
Cheers for your help!
