GH2 and APS-C Canons

Apparently this new Technicolor Cinestyle really works wonders, according to eoshd.com

It certainly gives you a lot of dynamic range to play with for grading. But the end result after grading does not gain image quality, the GH2 still beats it. It's just that now the Canon is the better choice if you are doing heavy grading. The GH2 has more resolution and tonal range, and even in Cinema film mode it is contrasty but with plenty of dynamic range. I believe the GH2 is keeping more DR from the sensor due to better scaling, whilst the Canon loses more despite it's sensor being very capable. CineStyle can only do so much.
