GH2 25mm f1.2 cctv lens and steadicam test

Hello, this is my first test with the steadycam sturdycam and the lumix gh2 with 25mm cctv lens @ 1.2, i have to practice more but i think is great for the gh2. I will try with the heavier 14-140 lens.

Im assuming focus reasons. Ideally, when operating a steadycam without a remote follow focus and Ac. It's easier to maintain focus with a wide angle lens and stopping it down. Of course you can block the scene to be able to shoot with a more shallow dof without an AC and follow focus. But it will be very time consuming and not look as good, ( just my opinion though).

When watching the OP's video, it looks as if he's buzzing focus with every movement by the lady. I see your question may also pertain to the vignette, but I like it on this piece. Sigor's the man. Love his music, even though I cant understand a word of it.lol

i asked the question to understand if jesusrg KNOWS he can shoot without the vignetting..
 
Thanks for replay, i know i can shoot with crop mode without vignetting, i did in other tests shoots of the cctv lens without steady i will upload to vimeo later, in this i didnt use it because the focus and stabilization is more dificult without wide angle (also crop mode is more grainy), and it was a quick test of the steady system.
