Took out my Panasonic DMC-GH2 for my second day of shooting with it. This time I wanted to test out its coloring capabilities so I decided to experiment a little and simulate 16mm film stock. Happy to report it was a pleasure to grade. Used the 14-140mm kit lens.

nice..
i personally would like to see a test of 16mm grading, without the 'help' of the other FX (scratches, flares, etc..).
when you see 16mm film in theater, it doesn't have those 'extras'.

My opinion on the 'look look like film film' aesthetic is only in regard to 'film grain', not flicker, wobbles, fog/flares, or scratches... I could do with out those 'artifacts' of film...

The 'run things backwards' as the film ends was interesting.

Overused film-like effects? Yes.

Did it look and feel really good? Also yes. For some reason I liked watching your take on film-like, 16mm-like simulation than most others, and for that, a salute! :)
