GH2 1080i vs 1080p

I have a question when it comes to filming landscape.

When it comes to motion 24p is the best for a cinematic look with blurred movement, but what about landscape. I saw this video from one member in the forum here.

Most scenes are pure landscape only some with persons walking. Would the pure landscape szenes look a lot different when not using 24p ? What is recommanded here ?

it plays really smooth on my computer with the file but not on vimeo

The file is interlaced, but the version you see in the vimeo player is recoded as progressive..

That video is all about fluid movements on the slider, higher framerate can only help the fluidity.. I think the same video at 60fps can only look better. Very nice video by the way
