GH1 GH1K Shutter issues

A guy locally is selling a GH1K which has the problem of the shutter not opening. the rest of the camera is fine, I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and do you know if it's easy to fix (and can you fix it yourself) It's less than $200 for it so if it was possible, I might get it since I'm pretty good at fixing electronics myself.

Sounds like it needs a shutter replacement, so it's not electronic, it's mechanical. Runs about $200- for most cameras.
