Well, I just did a show with a second camera left on a tripod for an hour and no lockup with 25pN enabled. Admittedly, there was a black back-drop covering most of the frame, so not high bitrates at all and only one of those 4x very specific lock-up conditions, (locked-off tripod, high contrast/bitrate scene, deep focus, still-life scene) but it gives me hope.
Whether I'd trust it outdoors for an hour, say at a wedding or whatever is another matter - I'd probably revert to non-native just for security.
