GH13 720/60p?

[robertrogoz]

I could not find any info on the possible hack for the 720/60p on GH1. I film a lot mtn biking and ski videos and I mostly film it at 60p, so I was just wondering if the hack increased bite rate on this mode as well or is it only on 1080/24 and 30p? Thanks for the info.

Yes it does increase bitrate in the "SH" or 720/60p mode.. Expect to need a class 10 SDHC card for reliable shooting. Personally I can only run the "B" setting and not get occasional crashes as 60p.

Jay, thanks for the info. I am also not sure if 720/60p is only in AVCHD or also in mjpeg.mov? According to this ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasonic/pressroom/pdfs/Panasonic_LUMIX_DMC-GH1_Spec_Sheet.pdf
60p is only in AVCHD- am I correct? Thanks and sorry about basic questions.

60p only avchd it's 30 in mjpeg... and yes the hack increases the quality of 60p as well but you need a fast card... I have had it work on a transcend class 6 but I will be getting some class 10s.
