Hi..i don't know if i'ma noob or not, but when i see the picture on the lcd or and vf and i like it, the colors, exposure etc..after i take the picture, the colors and exposure etc don't match...its really troubling me..

also, i have a canon fd lens..for some reason, the back cap won't come off, and i don't know waht to do..is this common..is there any instructions to remoe the rear cap..lol??

If you are in manual photography mode the image on the viewfinder is going to use gain and other things to give you an image that you can use to compose, focus, etc., but it won't be an exact match for the photo you are taking under a lot of circumstances - you will still need to set exposure using the meter. The photos you take should match pretty close if you set it using the camera's meter, and really, the pictures should look better than what the viewfinder shows.

As far as the FD lens, try rotating the ring that the rear cap is connected to, as opposed to trying to twist the cap.

Why would you want to see the results of exposure instantly? I mean imagine long exposures in the EVF... trippy. There is a little button on the lower right hand side of the camera. Push that to get a preview of some things.
