GH1 Tripod Questions?

So I was helping my church out yesterday during a garage sale, and I happened to notice that they were selling a Bogen tripod. I was surprised since Bogen is pretty pricy so I asked to buy it and they just gave it to me for free. It was an old model, dusty, but I thought with a little fix up, it could run as new. The only problem is... I have no idea about anything on tripods.
The Bogen model number is 3033, and the Bogen head is #3047. I have no I idea what kind of head it is but it seems to be called a pan tilt head.

The only problem is I have no idea how to break this apart so I can get into the "pan part", clean the dust out, and wd40 it to move smoothly. Just wondering if someone knows any websites on noob tripod help, or how to fix what ever tripod head this is.

Get an allen wrench set to take it apart with. Get some orange cleaner/goop off and a large can of compressed air. That's what I did to my two used Bogen/Manfrottos that looked like hell. They look brand spanking new now.

You'll probably want to sell that pan tilt head and buy a fluid video one.
