Did you just mount the screw into the tripod hole and shoot upside down and flip the video, or did you have a cage?

correct, but I inserted the camera directly to the screw, without tripod and any cage.

How does the camera function after all of this bumping and jumping? I have watched a few guys do this with gopros and similar pov cams and they break after a few rough rides...

Any malfunctioning?
