Help please...... i decided to buy gh1 from B&H but can i get some help what should i get with the camera my budget is $2000, and i will start shooting my feature film right after i get it.. can you guys help me please if i have to get any lens, SD card and so on... please ....... thank u for ur time.

A tripod is a must. There are other forms of support you might want to look at like shoulder rigs but for bang-for-your-buck and simplicity you can't go past a solid tripod for stabilisation. The Libec TH-650 is one of the best budget tripods around.

Get a 50mm f1.7 or f1.4 prime lens off ebay. You can find plenty of them in Pentax K mount, Nikon Ai, Canon FD, Olympus OM or M42 mounts pretty cheap. Then grab an adaptor for whatever lens you buy. Should be under $100 all up.

Grab a couple of SD cards so you don't have to constantly offload them. Class 4 are enough but class 6 will be faster to offload later on.

And don't forget about sound! A shotgun microphone (perferably with a boom) and either a XLR adaptor (make sure you get one which puts out a tone to defeat the cameras AGC) or an Audio recorder are a bare minumim for good sound.

thank u guys i have a tripod. and yes i will get the bag! do u recommend me any lens ....? to get a wide shot in small place. thank u for your time...

The kit lens. ;)

If you're shooting a feature film, I'm assuming you'll have some kind of control over the lighting. The kit lens kicks butt...it's just slow...which sucks for weddings and home videos indoors. I'd give it a shot before blowing your budget on a bunch of manual lenses and adapters before determining what you need.

I'd spend the money on audio and lighting...and making sure your computer is equipped with everything you'll need to remove pulldown, transcode, edit, and burn.

Good luck!

I would recommend:

-GH1 body & 14-140 Lumix lens (approx $1,200)

-Lumix 20mm f1.7 lens (approx $400)

-LED On-Camera light ($100): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/650628-REG/Dot_Line_DL_DV60_DL_DV60_Video_DSLR.html

-Monopod and tripod (~$100)

These are the basics, the rest is based on your needs. For example:

-Shoulder brace for monopod ($25): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...Bogen_Imaging_361_361_Shoulder_Brace_for.html

-Shoulder Brace with dual handles ($200): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...580D_SPE_RS1580D_SPE_Shoulder_Pad_System.html

-Audio: Juicedlink DN101 & CX211 ($330 total)
