I think nathan has better track record than time2envy (the same people as Broadway and ibuydigital). if you google time2envy you will see lots of complaints on other forums. I also googled masonjersey. No issues so far. One example here.

So, called Lozeau another time thus moning. The guy named Jonathan told me they dont have them yet, but that Panny promised them to have the Gh1 this week. He said that they might get them today or tommorow hopefully.

Yeah, all clues are pointing to this guy being legitimate. It's just weird how he came to have so many gh1s while other big distributors have none. But like I said before. Whatever. Just give me my damn camera.

He added 2 more GH1 to his auction but jacked it up to $1999. I think he got them from Panasonic if he's the authorized dealer. BH and Amazon got a few probably less than 20.
 
a msg was left on my phone this morning from henrys telling me they were holding one in warehouse. I had already returned my deposit because i had one shipped from BH. Anyone who wants it might be able to grab it by phoning henrys ancaster. If you want more details email me c.cook88@gmail.com
 
Called Henry's as well, no more til August. Contrary to what others have written on here, and regardless of how many GH1 calls they get a day, the service was rude.

Also for anyone who ordered from Panasonic Direct around June22 when the camera said "In Stock", it will not be available for shipment until MID-August...

I have a trip the second week of August, you figure when you order something two months ahead that it will not be a problem...time to look elsewhere.
 
Got an email back from a Legit store in NYC.

"We are expecting shipments to begin from Panasonic on July 31st.. but
nothing is written in stone.

We will hopefully getting more info shortly.

We have no idea right now on how many people have pre-ordered.

Your card is charged when it ships.

Just gave the PAL camera back to UPS. It's going back to them ground. I would really really like the camera by August 6. I will have 2 opportunities to shoot portfolio pieces. Unless they're willing to overnight the second camera to me, there's no way I'll get it by August 6. I'm going to call and see what they'll do for me.

I also called 2 shops on the east coast and added my name to waiting lists...neither of them took my credit card. We'll see.

Dang that sucks. You talked to Panasonic's customer service I'm guessing? I'm a June 22 order too. Mid August is sooo far away :crybaby:

Yes I spoke to them today, I gave them the benefit of the doubt since last time they said a date (June22) the camera actually shipped on that date. Not this time apparently.

Order status still says In Stock like it did when I put my order in, instead they say two months, the least they could do is upgrade the shipping for the 2 month wait.

Anyways Im trying Berger Bros. to see if vendors are really shipping before the manufacturer.

Yeah mine too. I'm not in a big hurry. I guess if it comes mid August I'll be fine. Just sucks that it didn't ship when you ordered while it was "In Stock."

Hi Rabot,

So I just called L.L.Lozeau, and first person I spoke with told me they had no information as to when the GH1 would arrive in store. I then inquired as to why some employees were telling customers that it would arrive this week. He went to speak with some of his colleagues and eventually told me that Panasonic had indeed told them they would ship some GH1 to L.L.Lozeau the week of the 20th of July.

I then spoke with a very nice lady at customer service who confirmed that the estimated date of delivery for the GH1 is this week.

I guess we can keep our fingers crossed that we might get the camera tomorrow!

I was the very first one. And then he sold one by one only a few minutes apart. he should be shipping them out on the same day. I can understand if it takes longer since it comes with lots of extra junk.

Got my bank ready to pounce if the hold is not released. I sent an email explaining I need this cancelled immediately. I think they got the picture. So hoping this goes smooth.
 
i ordered one off ebay from masonjersey and i messaged him verifying it is a NTSC camera and he said "yes, ntsc for sure." he also is sending it overnight to me with an added cost. i leave for iceland in a week for a 2 week backpacking vacation. i have to have it for it!
