GH1 Repair, Patch stopped loading

I have a early model GH1 the patched worked about 5 times. I was making a tweek to AVCHD settings and then my GH1 would not see the patch when I pressed the playback button. I have spend 8 hours retrying with no luck. Is there a person or place that can fix my camera. Because every time go to record in AVCHD my camera locks up. I'm freaked out about this. Any advise about repairs would be good. Like I said, I have used this patch several times then my camera will not recognize the updated .Bin file.

Recharge your battery, or use the plug-in power. The camera will not update if the battery is low.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but when you patch the firmware in ptool, are you incrementing the firmware version number sufficiently? The patched firmware you are trying to load may need to be set to a higher version number than that already installed on your camera.

what does your firmware version say?

1.3 for the body. I got lost in my increments so I started trying 1.50, 1.80 etc.

well it should work if you know its 1.3 and trying increments above it. try formatting the card. remember to load the firmware via card reader not usb. usb tends to corrupt the file.

I'll try that card reader that's the only variable I have not changed.
