GH13 Gh1 producing low saturation skin tones.

So I use the native 24p hack at 50mbps with nature film mode at all -2. With any skin tone that is between a highlight and shadow there is this weird desaturated band that is extremely annoying. I have tried Panasonic glass and canon fd lenses and both show the same thing. I have also tried smooth film mode with no such luck. Anyone else have this problem?
 
Can you take screenshots and post post them or the raw files?

I've seen this problem on my canon's using cinestyle curves if I over-expose but not sure on the GH...
 
I know exactly the problem you are talking about. It is one of the few things that annoyed me about the GH1. As far as I know, it is not something that was ever solved. The GH2 does not seem to have this problem. I do seem to remember people saying that maybe the Standard setting fared a little better than Smooth with this issue. It also did this when shooting stills. I could never solve it. It also seems related to the notorious "blue shift" problem, where colors in that same area would spontaneously shift more blue. Have you encountered this?
 
Well I shot something else today that I thought for sure would have this issue. Put in on my computer and no such problem. But a shot I took later on did... it could be from the camera being on too long, keep in mind the lighting between these two shot weren't exactly the same. I also found that this problem is worse in daylight and better indoors.
