Brandon,
The new MC 5.0 software that will be released at the end of the month will import AVCHD and transcode to DNxHD. The new version will work much like the 5D 7D import on MC 3.0-4.0.
Other than waiting you only option is to transcode to another format with a 3rd party app/
Panny does have an AVCHD to DVCPRO utility for PC its free.

Clipwrap has the option to convert to DNxHD. Or wait until June for MC5.

Is the AVC-HD to DVCPro a good option? Is the quality comparable?
