GH1 Macro footage

I took some time over the weekend to shoot a few macro shots with the GH1, Nikon 50mm, & Nikon 28mm. I grabbed some items from around my room and lit them with a combination of desk lights and flashlights. These are the results, enjoy.

I used a Nikon reverse ring.

Very cool. Something else to add to my shopping list. Can you still use the focus ring on the Nikon lens when the reverse ring is attached, or do you focus by moving the camera?

You have to move the camera. Admittedly, this can be a challenge when trying to get something so small framed.

The GH1's articulated LCD and focus-zoom ability (where you move the little yellow square around) are a godsend for macro work. Nice work!

I've been playing with a Nikon 28mm taped with gaff tape backwards on my Nikon adapter all week and it's awesome. I am planning a video with some macro stuff in it soon.
