GH1 Lens Release Button Problem?

I've lost the little silver lens release on my GH1 body. As a result, I cannot seem to remove the Hawk c-mount/m4-3 lens adapter I have in there.

Any ideas what I should do? I've tried holding it down with the flat end of a pencil and turning the adapter quite hard.. nada.

unfortunately i cant give you any solutions but how the heck did you lose the button in the first place? I hope it just didn't fall off.

it may be pressing on a sprung lever inside so look for a small opening that looks like something should fit into it and insert something possibly. I take no responsibility if you break something else in the process so do it at your own risk.

Yeah umm how did this happen? I wouldn't mess around with it. I would send it to Panasonic and have them repair it. If it wasn't dropped and just "fell" off then I would think that would be under warranty. I sure hope it didn't just fall off.
