GH1 in red

B&H: "Right now we cannot take any pre-orders on the red model. It is not yet announced as a part.... just a concept.(for now)" No reds out there? Is this so?
 
I thought there were a few out there, Bloom might have been one of the guys I thought had a red version. Anyway, they might have dropped the colored ones. Get black, it's more low key and stealth.
 
I think the colors are only readily available in non-US markets...Red in Europe and Red and Champaign in Japan/Asia.
 
If you insist on having a red NTSC GH1 you can get the shell parts as replacement items.

My plan was to get a red model just so I could go "Hey Jim, I got a scarlett camera!" but then the first one that came along here was black so I took it. The champagne one I think I would have skipped, that colour don't look good together with all black parts that still remain.
 
I guess I don't care if I have NTSC or not, because all I care about is getting my footage on and off my PC. Can I buy a PAL unit in the US? Unless...can the GH1 be powered by by AC adapter? If so, I'd like the option of AC power - US standard electric.

Can you replace the parts without voiding your warranty?

I assume there are some labeled screws in there somewhere that if you break the label on them you lose. Lol.

I'd love to replace the shell if the rubber starts to go.
