GH1 Hack & Slow Shutter - MJPEG HD for > 40 minutes

I wouldn't usually start a new thread but I can't seem to find an answer to one particular GH1 hack inquiry in all the many, many posts I've viewed over the last couple of years and I have followed the GH1 for quite some time now. I'm looking to shoot using the slowest shutter speed available (1/2) on the GH1 for an automotive video art film but none of the hack settings I've seen seem to cater for using a shutter speed lower than the frame rate. I ideally want to use MJPEG rather than AVCHD, either 1080 or 720 and ISO 100. However, crucially I need the clip to record for approximately 45 min to 60 min as I will not be able to adjust any camera settings whilst on the road. I only seem to get clips averaging 8 -12 minutes in length. The clip then ends and the shutter button needs to be pressed in order to shoot another clip. I have seen posts mentioning that the hacked GH1 should 'daisy-chain' clips together, without stopping, until the card capacity is used up but regardless of which Ptool settings (mostly Lpowell) I use I can't seem to get clips > 40 min using slow shutter in MJPEG HD mode. Any help with my inquiry would be very much appreciated.
