Gh1 footage to 1080i

Hi Guys,

I got two Sony FX1 (HDV 1080i cameras) and a panny Gh1 videocam (AVCHD 720P).
I like to mix these footages in my Sony Vegas 9 timelime. Is there a good way to mix the footages with less quality loss? I bought the GH1 to be used for artistic shots when I need a good bokeh.

Has anyone done this?

Is it better to convert 720P to 1080i or the reverse?

Man I would like to know the same. Does it look ugly if you export 1080i without the pulldown? I have some 1080i cam as well and I want to mix footages.
 
Hmmm....I would say just do some tests and see what's best. I am not sure how well the software can convert 1080i to 720p and it also depends n what you're using...I am sure vegas has some way of doing it. I think the 720p should be pretty easy to convert to 1080i and will probably intercut fine...hmm.

Just try a few things and see what you like.
