Hey Guys!
I'm pretty worried - I got a GH1 today (WE9K...) and i want to patch the Cam Suddenly (with a FULL ORIGINAL BATTERY), like i did it on my GF1 with Succes - After Minutes of Waiting, and i knew that no Firmware Update takes this long usually - The Cam makes a sound like it shots a photo and then the Red AF Light stays on and the green light flashes also still - I've waiting a pretty long time and tried to get back in the preview mode, i want take it off but nothing happens so i pulled out the battery. (What I've explored lately is - i removed the lens - that the shutter / aperture is closed)
As I want to turn it on again only the screen flickers for a few seconds and it turns off -
Seems as my Camera is bricked - but what to do now - Is there any way to rescue the Cam by my own - Or should i risk to send it to Panasonic, hoping they won't find out that there's a firmware modification (which is not even working, so will they detect it?!)
Please help me guys!
Thanks a lot
Best Regards
