GH1 body only?

Any one know if the GH1 is going to be for sale without the lens? (not the Japanese model)

Guess I could always buy the kit and sell the lens.

probably not. they never did with the g1. so i suspect they won't with the gh1. you might be able to get one ebay or craigslist.

A body-only configuration of the GH1 will reportedly be sold in the UK starting next month:

I haven't heard of similar plans for the US.

The PAL model has been available without kit lens from a dutch retailer for some month.

In Japan the NTSC model has been available for a long time as body only but with non-changeable japanese menus only, no english.

I bought a body only on eBay, but it would probably be a better deal to buy the kit and sell the lens. You get more bang for your buck that way. I think the guy I bought my body from was buying them kit and then separating them to resell. Make a quick $150 that way
