GH1 - Body firmware 1.6 Help

Hi all,


i have a GH-1 (black) with a body firmware 1.6. how the hell did it got to 1.6? i did a check and the last version was 1.32, i think.
Now i couldnt get it to hack, and i have searched everywhere but i cant seem to find an answer.

my gh1 serial starts with - WE0CDXXXXXX

If you guys know anything, please help this fellow filmmaker, i really would like to get my GH1 hacked. :(
 
I used the latest version of ptools, gh1 ver 1.32 firmware and with both version increment and version compare ticked.

version increment i increased it by x47 that makes it version 1.61 but when i load it up and pressed play it doesnt load up the firmware update.

tried 1.61 all the way up to 1.71, tried each with no hacks, with 100mpbs max latitiude, lpowell reliable playback hacks but its still not working. :(

also had new body option ticked.

followed exactly on the tutorials, with full battery, even with custom mode and evf/lcd auto off.

Did it with a class 10 8gb transcend card, tried also with a 256mb SD card.


i wonder what the hell went wrong? :(

it keeps giving no valid picture to display.


is there another way for me to downgrade/remove the patch? or reformat? would going into service mode helps?
 
ruled out renaming with double underscore?
are you transferring via usb or card reader?
tried a clean format of the sd cards?
are you using OEM battery or third party?

im just going through the list of possibilities.
 
Holy Crap, I did it!

Yep, i did it all just like what the tutorial said. Turns out that my GH1 was version 1.6C (did a check using temp service mode), i just had to do version increment to 1.6D in ptools. :)
