Hi, I understand that AVCHD with Video Quality set to SH or H or L, will be recorded at 1280 x720, the only difference will be the Bit Rate:

- SH = 17 Mbps
- H = 13 Mbps
- L = 9 Mbps

Do you know what is the "main" difference among those Bit Rates ?, if I set it to L (9 Mbps) will be a huge difference with H or SH ?, any previous experience ?, I would like to better understand what I am loosing by moving down from SH --> H --> L.

Thanks

You should always try to shoot in the highest quality especially with AVCHD unless you have a very long gig and not enough memory card space.
The higher the bit rate the better the video quality.

The Variable Bitrate will work both ways ?, meaning increase and decrease, depending if you selected L or SH ?

The bitrate always is variable, but in the lower quality modes it's set lower.

SH mode is the highest quality 720p. The other modes are for when you need longer recording times on your card, and are willing to sacrifice visual quality to get it.
