GH1 and GH2 Batteries

Can anyone else confirm this? From what I'm reading it seems the GH1 batteries will work in the GH2. Anyone with a GH2 find this to be true?
 
I've got both GH1 and GH2. The batteries ARE NOT the same. GH2's battery is thiner and has completely different joint.
 
Actually if you ask me this is the one big reason why GH1 shooters have to make a decision whether to go GH2 or not. I can't imagine having yet another battery/charger combo in my kit!
 
i bought the GH2 and made a big mistake not ordering extra battery or even a charger from Japan. now to get another battery will cost me a lot more to get it imported, taxes etc..
so be wise, my friends
