gh1 and fisheye

I'm looking for a fisheye lens that can give me the fisheye effect. I've read that the sensor size of the gh1 does not yeild a fisheye look when using a 16mm. Instead it gives a wide angle...

I've been looking at the Zenitar 16mm and peleng 8mm. Anybody have experience or input on this?

(Apparently Panasonic have a fisheye in preparation but I don't know whether a release date has been given).

It should be next year.

In the meantime, try adapting a Zuiko 8mm with a 4/3 to m4/3 adapter.

Great used fisheye's for sale at this link.

I thinks its ordered first alphabetically then by focal length so canon FD's are first, Nikons are several pages along.
Scroll down a bit there are a bunch around the $200 mark.

I've used the Peleng 8mm quite a bit with the GH1 and Hot Rod PL. For the price it's a decent lens, it's not a great optic. The effect from the 8mm is very cool.

You can probably get the Peleng in a less expensive mount than PL on the GH1. But I can only recommend the PL mount version of the Peleng 8mm. I have no experience with any other flavor of the lens.

The lens normally comes with a Nikon and an M42 mount.
